Audio Posts boxelder bugs Sept 20 2012

Today I discovered that our temporary home that shares the same exposure with our old home, which is the site for our new home, shares another a very important characteristic.

It is a prime site for overwintering of boxelder bugs. According to the University of Minnesota Extension Agency, some homes are particularly attractive to them. The key seems to be large southern or western exposure that offers a warm location. We have those. We had those, and we will have those.

I guess we lived, are living, and will live in a home that is warm and inviting, even if the invitation includes the boxelders.
