The storm moved back out to sea so we have had a break. We have slept and done some adjustment of our storm structures. Here are some photos. The water went way down from what it was which is very encouraging. The rains are picking back up now with about two more feet projected for the next 48 hours. We are cautiously optimistic that we will continue to keep the water out.

The photos we post are not the worst, we are too busy bailing water then. They are from when things settle down a little and we try to take photos.

We are still safe and amazingly, with power and potable water. Even if we lose power and water we will be OK.

Sophie is not happy at all to have to go out into the water to do her business. In the lull we finally got her to go poop. She has been pretty good about adding to the water.

We continue to improve our “Harvey Bay of Fundy” by improving the raceway. We are channeling the water from the yard and in particular Lake Libbye from the side of the house. Hank is pushing out the last of that round of water. We start sweeping when the water is about 1 to 1 1/2 ft deep. It takes about 30 minutes to get it down to shoe-sole height.
